Does flipping an image horizontally reduce its quality?
If you export your flipped image as a PNG, the process is 100% mathematically lossless. If you export as a JPEG (a lossy format by nature), the browser engine must re-encode the pixels. We mitigate this by forcing the export quality to maximum (95%), resulting in virtually zero perceptible loss.
